$399 retail,I will not spend any more than $39 at an auction.Why?Because I can then SELL the ring for TRIPLE what I
paid for it. I can sell that same ring for $117 (remember - I'm still
TRIPLING the investment) AND offer the item for 70% off the listed retail
price ($399).I strongly advise you to take a minute and think about that.You can offer your customers (or bidders,
family, friends and neighbors!) a gorgeous piece of diamond jewelry for 70% off - and STILL TRIPLE YOUR MONEY.
This is very important.One of the most powerful selling techniques known
to man is a salesman offering anything for 50% off. . So how easy do you think
it is to sell fine diamond jewelry for 70%off?
It's like selling candy to a baby. Especially if you can open a retail establishment, small shopette
or flea market booth. All you have to do is offer your jewelry 50% off all year.That means you'll earn 5 times
your investment by the way! Then on select weekends and holidays offer your jewelry on "Sale" for 70% off (your still
tripling your money) which will gain you loyal customers who are VERY
happy and get word of mouth advertising that spreads like wildfire.
Don't want to open a store? That
is fine! You must have patience though.You will need to build up a
small inventory to get money coming in daily.You must be patient
to sell on eBay,Yahoo and Amazon auctions.Remember,you are not face to face with anyone.Expect some items to need 2 or 3 weeks or more to sell on a auction site.Some
of your items will only need a day or two.
It is VERY cheap to sell on eBay. For 55 cents, you can have your item listed on auction for
a full week on the 5th most visited web site on the Internet! And if your item doesn't sell the first week, you can relist
it again for
another week for free.If you sell your item in the 2nd week, eBay will refund your second week's fee.So really your getting
2 weeks on eBay for just 55 cents per item! For $1.10 you can have your item on eBay for a month! Be
patient and eventually you'll get the price you want.
The more inventory you have,the more chances you will have of getting
daily customers.I suggest trying to start with at least 10 to 20 jewelry items to get the cash flow in motion.Then once you
get above 50 items and more you will be very busy!
Start your opening bids at TRIPLE what you paid for it.TELL them in the description how big the discount is on your opening
bid. Just say
"This item's opening bid is 70% off the suggested retail price!" at the
end of your detailed description.It is the
most important sentence of your description and gets sale after sale
for us.Try it.
GET 50% or 70% OFF STUCK IN THEIR HEADS! Do the math for them in your description! It works
time and time again for me.TELL them what a good offer it is in your description.I'm amazed at how
many people don't do this.That one sentence puts thousands in our pocket every year.
So Where the Heck is All This 85-95% off Jewelry I want to sell??
